MERC-Net: Battletech-Mercenaries

I have generated a couple of PMs, and they just stay in the Outbox folder, but never make it to the Sent folder. Is there a problem with the system, or with the recipient email address?

The Director is on a 'Leave of Absence' however; I do have access. Gimme a chance and I'll see if I can muddle through troubleshooting this issue.

One thing to double check, because I ran into this once. If the receiver never reads/opens it, it stays in the outbox. It moves to the sent folder if they've read it.

I sent someone a PM once who had gone MIA from BTM, and I think it's still sitting there. I know they never got it/read it because they haven't logged into the the forums ever since.

Historian, my response was to the Deputy Director, but I can see where I caused confusion.

The Loremaster is correct... PMs stay in the Outbox until the recipient reads them. I am getting your PMs, DNA, and have responded.

I just happened to be browsing this morning (lurking mostly).

The other thing, is you do need to perodicially clear out old PMs, there is a hard limit on each user account, I don't recall the number off hand.
