Hello and welcome to MERC-NET,

For now there is not much information to be displayed here, but as we remember and gather data, any regulation that is special to this forum shall be displayed here.

1. Please read the Forum Rules. The link will be available in the header section or HERE

2. New members will need a minimum of 10 posts before they can start new topics.

3. Old forum can be found [url="#nowhere"]HERE[/url]. Registration and posting is turned off. Old members can log in and read their past work. Guests can view IC topics and public forums.
Temporarily the forum has no graphics, but content can be viewed.

4. If you want to become a unit member please submit an application on the main website. Link is found in the header section.

So erm... there's no link? Or is there the old forums address?

The text in this, I believe, was copied from a backup post from the previous forum. So if it makes no sense that's why.

So there's no way we can retrieve anything from the old forums?

At the moment the answer is no.

I have never had access to the host where the old forums were, and I'm told the file for a db backup is perhaps very large and if its as large as I suspect, transferring in any form is problematic. For now, We will have to make due with what we have. I do have a forum scrape, from a few months ago that I'll try to grab some data from, but I don't know how deep it goes. Any recovery is going to be a very slow process, either way.
